On the Feast of Tabernacles Jesus proclaimed in John 7 verse 37:
"Let anyone who is thirsty come to Me and drink!"
John 15 verse 5 and 6:
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in Me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned".
The first Psalm sings about the blessing God grants to those who live their lives according to His will. He who refuses to live an ungodly life and finds delight in the law of God, can be compared with a fruit-tree planted near the waterside.
Permanently absorbing water, its leaves constantly look fresh, and it bears fruit in time.

The tree near the waterside
Psalm 1:3
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither - whatever they do prospers.Full bible text
Psalms 1 verse 1 to 6
1 Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers, 2 but whose delight is in the law of the LORD,
and who meditates on His law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither - whatever they do prospers.
4 Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff
that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.
